Hot Wheels Digital Art will be available for sale beginning August 28th on Mattel’s website, at specialty toy retailers, and at toy stores nationwide. Each print is limited to 2,500 pieces, with a suggested retail price of $20.

Mattel is a world-famous American company that has just taken the plunge into the world of cryptocurrencies. Mattel releases the first digital illustration of Hot Wheels cars.

This Tuesday, the company is offering three digital artworks in the form of non-refundable tokens (NFTs), which will be auctioned on the brand’s official website as part of the Hot Wheels NTF Garage series. These unique works use classic cars from his archives: Twin Mill, Deora II and Bone Shaker. They were all popular, as were other common toys around the world.

The auction to sell these tokens will last a week, and the winner can pay in Ethereum. This cryptocurrency is the second largest in the world in terms of trading volume. The company also said it was considering an NFT auction for other toy brands.

In a statement, the company said it hopes to further spread the brand in the NFT format and create new ways to bring art and innovation together in the toy world.

Richard Dixon, the company’s president and COO, said the initiative is an important part of the evolution of physical toys as collectibles.

He added that all these efforts are done to make the brand more relevant and the company timeless, effective and timely. Richard Dixon stresses that the company needs to stay at the forefront of the conversation and remain relevant in the world of cryptocurrency.

Crypto currencies have become popular on themarket

Mattel is an American company founded in 1945 that manufactures and distributes toys. Harold Matson and Eliot Handler founded the brand. The most popular toys of this brand are Barbie, Moster High, Hot Wheels, Max Steel and many others.

Hot Wheels is one of the car brands of this American company that was launched in 1968. These cars are distinguished by their refined design and the fact that they are collector’s items.

NFTs are based on blockchain technology, the computer code used by many cryptocurrencies. NFT has made a name for itself in the art world by selling limited edition digital products directly to consumers. This project allows the artists to better control their work. Critics, however, argue that if digital currencies fail, the market could also collapse, posing a certain risk.

With this announcement, Mattel joins other creators selling NFT, including the National Basketball Association, The New York Times and Disaster Girl.

The toy maker has stepped into the world of cryptocurrencies and is launching a unique and innovative art that will increase its profits.Starting in July 2017, Hot Wheels will release a series of five digital art cards featuring artwork by celebrated metal artist Erik Ko. Each card will be available individually or as a set of two (2) for $4.99. The digital art cards will be sold at Mattel.com, Mattel Toy Stores, HotWheels.com, and other toy retailers worldwide.
